How can I experience the supernatural presence of God?

In Psalm 139:7 – 10 the Psalmist states, “Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.”

How powerful is Satan? Does he know our thoughts and everything we do?

Satan was created as Lucifer, an angelic being of the highest order, before he fell into sin (see Ezekiel 28:11-15). After he fell, he apparently still possessed great powers. In the book of Job, we find that he could cause fire to fall from the sky (Job 1:16), control the wind (Job 1:19) and even inflict boils on a person (Job 2:7). On top of this, he had authority on earth since it was delivered to him (Luke 4:6) presumably by Adam when he listened to the serpent’s lie in the garden of Eden. What can cause me to not hear God speaking?

When we are not hearing from God, we should ask, ‘Why?’ There could be many reasons such as:

I know God loves me and cares for me. But sometimes I can’t feel His love and care for me. Sometimes I can’t sense His goodness. How can I say with the Psalmist in Psalm 34:8 “Taste and see that the LORD is good!”

Let us first examine what is meant by “Taste and see that the LORD is good” in Psalms 24:8. Is this a reference to physically or emotionally feeling his love and sensing his goodness? Or does the context mean something else?
