How do you explain why God would create so many people who are homosexual, even though the bible says it is a sin?

Answer:

When God created everything, He created it good – without sin or flaw (Genesis 1:31). When Adam rebelled against God, sin entered the world and everything became imperfect.  This extends even to our DNA and genetic code. It is because of this disobedience to God that we are all sinful – not just homosexuals, but every one of us (Romans 3:23). God does not single out homosexuals as especially sinful. In fact, in a list of sins in the Bible in 2 Corinthians 6:9-10, alongside homosexuality, are the sins of sexual immorality (heterosexual), idolatry, adultery, stealing, greed, drunkenness, reviling and swindling. In the very next verse, the writer goes on to say how people like these were saved and cleansed by Jesus Christ. The Bible does say that homosexuality is a sin, but it does not elevate it above other sins. And since God offers salvation to all who will acknowledge their sins, and turn to Jesus in faith, this means that homosexuality is not the greatest sins, and that those with a homosexual orientation are also welcome into God’s Kingdom, as everyone else is. In this Kingdom, brothers and sisters than help one another to resist temptation, fight sin, and become more and more like Jesus.
